The family

A small family business in Columbia, South Carolina, working on hardwood floors since 2006.

One family, one trade, since 2006

Our father started this business in 2006, and hardwood has been the family trade ever since. Between us there is more than 20 years of work in the flooring industry, and the floors still get done the way he taught them.

Everything we know about wood floors was learned in real houses, one room at a time. Flooring is the trade the family has worked in the whole time, and it is still the family’s work today.

How we work

We look at the floor before we say what it needs.

Sometimes that means sanding it back to bare wood. Sometimes a recoat is enough and a full sanding would be a waste of your money. Sometimes a few boards are the whole job. You get told which one it is, and why.

Wood is the material we know, so the list of what we do is short: installation, sanding and refinishing, recoating and maintenance, and repairs. Keeping it to one material is how the work stays consistent.
